ABOUT ME
My name is melonie (but you can call me mel or melly). i have a passion for creating things, and i simply cannot stop. this has been a problem since i was about the age of six, when i first started drawing pictures of the things that i saw in my classroom. it only started with drawing, but by the time i reached the age of 11, i was taking on music, and the two were forever in competition with each other.
upon graduating high school, i began a long scholastic journey in post-secondary institutions, starting with a bfa (bachelor of fine arts - which i only completed about 2/3), completing a music degree, and finally ending up in a technical school for architectural technology. after all, something needed to pay the bills. throughout this time, i had been part of many orchestras, choirs, bands, and always keeping art and crafts of various natures ongoing, but photography was the one thing that i always did "for fun".
this is a very simple attempt at sharing my latest journey into photography, and i do hope you enjoy.
